Who's tubular front end are you running? I can't decide if I want something sturdy like UMI's RR K-member or go for the lightest possible.

The engine, remind everyone this isn't a comfy ride ha. No P/S,A/C. Has a 10% ATI dampner, fast 78 ported by me with a shaner s3 stock ported throttle body. EPS 234/246 cam kit, with Texas speed 1 7/8 with there y pipe which I cut up and installed a flowmaster merge with a dynomax 9 inch collector muffler dumped tuned by FAP tuning. All of my suspension components are from MWC in chromoly. Only stock part is the upper control arms and rear shocks. The pinion angle is at -1.5. Car mite be lighter than I think I am trying to get my buddy's scale to let you guys know exact weight.

 

does it have a roll bar?

 

Nope, interior looks stock besides rear seat is removed. Also ozite light weight carpet. Hopefully a 8 point will be installed soon.

I'd love to come to the track one day you're there this coming Spring and let you drive my car and see what kind of ET you could throw down.

 

No problem man, I drove several of my buddy's on the street to get the win lol. But can give some pointers and maybe adjust something's so you can throw the number down!

Sounds like I will need more gear and a lot less weight if I intend to hit a 10 with stock heads. I don't want to lose my A/C but have been considering it. I will consider the gear swap this winter but don't think I want to go any lower than 4.11 because I am going to try to spray it into the 9's with a nitrous outlet plate kit. The kit is on the car but I want to get my tune dialed in and N/A times down before spray.

 

Unless your larger cubes it hard to go 10s na with virtually stock engine. Sacrifices have to be made. With your goal I would agree with you run as fast as you can and gear it for the nitrous and spray the house down.

Sounds good. The plan is to get to the track as much as I can this coming Spring/Summer.

I think he's planning on adding a Nitrous Outlet plate kit. He'll be in the 9's no problem.
