Thanks guys, the video doesn't do it much justice, it sounds 100x better in person

The cam has a 112LSA... I might have one pic of the exhaust, I'll have to check.

The 1 7/8 headers are the better of the two options because they will support more HP/TQ, even on a very mild setup. I have 1 3/4 right now and will be switching over to 1 7/8 soon.

Yes, the 1 7/8 will even benefit the mostly stock motor over the 1 3/4 headers. Texas Speed sells some really nice, and inexpensive, 1 7/8 stainless headers.

You'll be on the right path with some nice 1 7/8 headers and a matching exhaust.

CHADsterss, what finish did you get on the headers, and how are they holding up? I went with the ceramic and they are still looking good, but I have very little miles on them.

So what is the difference between stepped and non stepped headers? Does that just mean it goes from 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 as opposed to being 1 3/4 or 1 7/8?

The headers I have are victor drag series from edelbrock, they fit like a glove when I put them in. I'd recommend them to you but unfortunately they stopped producing them.

As far as the coating goes I believe they were just the high-temp paint version (I could be wrong) but they are starting to rust.

Hell I had these headers on my car when it was just a stock LS1

Thanks for the compliments guys, I wish y'all could hear it in person it sounds AMAZING!! Lol literally every time I start my car I have to put a new pair of pants on LOL!

Yes, the headers are 1-3/4" for about the first third of the primary, then switch to 1-7/8" for the rest of the primary length. The idea is to promote scavenging.
