Never though I'd see an old fbody slide that well and look that good doing it. Whenever I come across a cool fbody drifting video it makes me really want to go that route with mine... But I dont want to mess up my som paint lol.

None, my front wheel just hitted a bit on S15 (BMW engined ) and messed my line for few seconds. Iīve been driving so long that small bumbs dont effect too much on driving

i almost shed a tear.. such a beautiful sight love me some 2nd gen goodness!

don't care what anyone says, from a spectators point of view, drifting is by far the best form of racing. And it looks like the most fun to participate in as well...

Nice!! It looked more like you initiated later so I thought you might have scared yourself a little. What size tyres are you running out back? Whats your race weight? Are you running a detroit speed front end by chance?

I just didnīt expect him to brake...

Donīt seem like it but it was pretty fast entry, for me on qualification over 150km/h and initiation, thought that silvia initiated 10km/h slower on qualification. Then it slows down to 50km/h to first apex. Need to be pretty presice on your stepmarks where to initiate and get close enough to first car, especially when speed variates pretty much on different cars.

I use 245/40-18 rear tyres, best my sponsor can offer. Re-threaded tyres, pretty quite grippy ones. And 205/55-16 Toyo R888 semislicks front, that narrow cause of turning angle, this has nearly 65 degrees of max angle.

Itīs balanced quite way i like it with that tyre combination. Havent scaled it with supercharger, but when still naturally aspirated it was pretty presicely 1300kg with full tank and W/O driver, maybe bit under on drift wheels. Now about 25-30kg more? Weight distribution 50.5/49.5 with driver. Itīs quite fast car and leaves well from corners compared to almost any other drift car here, 4-links ftw

I have raced also track races in 2011-2012 and there is minimum weight limit 1300kg, with heaviest wheels i have i needed about 10kg extra weight that this donīt go underweighted after race when missing 20l fuel.

Front end is totally my own design, look from driftworks if interested -> http://www.driftworks.com/forum/drif...-2010-a-6.html most on there and last page this winters modifications. Some thread also is this forum -> https://ls1tech.com/forums/conversio...track-car.html

Yes sir!! A man after my own mind set...make it yourself!! Those 205's up front just look wrong, almost as wrong as 245 out back lol!! Your tyre sponsor needs to step up, 245's up front and 275's out back at least. You definitely have a lot of traction with that 4 link, you can see it leap forward on power.

I've got 66 degrees on mine too, just need to finish the chassis. Thanks for some more inspiration!!
