I saw some pics of your S1K,very nice
I'm an old member at GDC as well... I have also been posting on sh.org and hayabusa.org for about 14-15 years.. I'm ZXALAN over on those forums. This is my other child..had this one for 14.5 years.. Just an ole dinosaur but.....it still gets around pretty well..

Ha!,I know that screen name lol.
That's a sweet gen1,my favorite color combo too,but I may be a bit biased

Just brought my '00 home on Thursday,I had the AMS1000 wired&hooked up to CO2. Mike from SAE Outlaw does all my work,he's on sh.org as well. 475rwhp is fun aint it?

I post under "turbo051k" on sh.org as I forgot my password for my original screen name years ago&Admin said F-U when I asked for a change lol

On a side note,we went out for a ride yesterday, one of our buddys has a '14 10R. He installed a full Ti Akra, did the wire mod,PCV,ECU flash and made 187rwhp(which is pretty much dead nuts on for all once un neutered). Since we were in Mexico I did some top end pulls, that lil ****** is quick! Of course,he has been calling out the local S1K's to partake in the 10R/S1K rivalry that seems to be very intense lol. We did a few pulls against my Gen2,his only chance is if Im in 3rd and he is in 2nd from a 60roll..he got out 1.5-2bikes on the hit,I stopped his pull in 5th and started creeping on him right before I clicked 6th but we ran out of road. My Gen2 is not stock before anybody calls BS

What's done to your gen 2? I've been thinking of trying my luck against some of the bolt on ones in town.

My gen 3 10r just had a new set of stator bolts put in because my dumbass decided locktite wasn't important and they backed out on me. Nothing catastrophic thank The Lord but it could have been worse. And I also removed the secondaries.

Should be somewhere around 170-175.

I'm planning on just +1F and hoping that will suffice. My bike isn't too wheelie happy so I should be good.

Lil bit of weight reduction, its down to 520lbs with half a tank of gas. Has BST wheels, full Ti Akra,a few other things. Traps 162 with my fat 220lb *** riding, a lil bit more with a flyweight jockey lol

Bolt-on Gen2's make around 185-190rwhp and a nice amount of torque,so from a 60 roll in 2nd gear you may be surprised how quick they scoot out

About a year and a half ago. Musician and all. Bikes and cars are my secondary thing or I'd have more in the stable at the moment.

162 trap? Is that N/A? I'm out of the loop if it is. Haven't seen an n/a bike trap that high with a normal sized guy on it.

Damn! 162 mph with a 220lb rider is insane! Got that bitch running hard... Obviously its all scienced out well.. We have 1441s down here that don't run that mph with 170lb riders...

I only went 168-169 mph on my turdbo with me at around 195lbs suited with around 14 psi (300hp ish) in 4/5/6th. Bike is not really setup well for drag racing (62", stock height front/strapped, stock style clutch with back torque limiter, 17/40 gears).. 8.68@168 w/ 1.58 60'. Its really more of just a street/highway bike that can still go around curves... I did go 225.906 mph at the Tx Mile on it at 16 psi (340 ish hp) in full street trim and the mirrors on.

I may start messing with it again this year, I haven't played with bikes much the last 3-4 years since I was building my vettes... But I may set the busa up for a little more roll racing/drag racing this year. I have an AMS1000 on it but its on manifold pressure. Id love to go CO2 on it eventually.. Mine wont leave well on a 6lb spring currently...

As for my S1000RR, it dynoed 185 rwhp STD on Johnny Cheeses dyno after we mapped the PCV... I'd like to try to find a few more HP somewhere with it.. I'm 201lbs suited now and running against all these young 170lb'ers on gen 4 ZX10s has proven challenging.

We've got family in town visiting this weekend or I'd come meet you. Schedules never seem to match up. We'll make it happen sooner or later.

Not a problem. I'll be back out here soon again. Trying to watch a c6 z06 vs turbo t/a last night in my caddy srx wasn't working out so well. Need to have that liter so I can actually watch next time.

Yeah no ****... About 11 years ago, my busa was a stock motor (w/yosh cams) and ran 9.30s@150-151 stock wheel base, I was only 175lbs suited back then and it would run 9.teens@159 on a .035 jet (about 45hp, made 223hp).. Only spraying from 2nd gear on though..

We have tons of 1397/1441 busas down here that make anywhere from 195-215 hp and most of them go high 150s at best NA... Unless they are REALLY setup to drag race...(68", sliders etc etc).. But most of us are average weight (180-210lbs suited) not 160lb suited jockeys.

I used to frequent gdc back in the day, once a bike was 3-4 years old, more idiots can afford them, just got tired of the same **** by the same stupid people.

I had a pretty nasty k5 750 that made 149 to the wheel, I raced all kinds of people and hurt a lot of feelings, especially when they thought it was a 600...lol.
Did lose to a handful of cars but there really wasn't a lot of fast cars around here at the time. Got yanked by a built c6z and a dorky looking purple 350z with twins...haha

Funniest one was a fratty teenage kid in an s197 roush. Revved the **** out of it at a light, looked over, and says "you think you want any of that" He took off and pulled about a car length until I passed him on the back tire laughing.

Quick Reply: Looking for some good videos of 600+ whp cars vs bikes
