What a douche!!!

But don't get me wrong, I'm no hater. If it's fast, I respect it. No matter what is under the hood or how big and ugly a wing it may have or even what the logo may be(although I am partial to GM). I just have more respect for those who do it without assistance.

Seen them handle over 330 RWHP and 370 RWTQ.

I think it's worse than a Honda owner. Honda guys with the base engines dream of having a B16 or whatever. The smart ones don't go around putting tons of money into their 1.5 non VTEC engines. They go buy a DOHC 1.6 or a 1.8 Type R motor.
Maybe it's a money issue. Maybe you (94 Teal) can't afford a LS1. Well, if that's what you really want, then wouldn't it be smarter to just save the money you'd waste with the 3.4 and put it towards a LS1? In the end, it's what you'd want, and once you get to that point, you'll look back and be so much more satisfied. How is it going to make you feel when your 3.4 has all this work done and gets pulled by a stock LS1?
I'm 21, and I sure don't make much money at all. I'm probably in the bottom 10% of salaries on this website. The difference is I set goals for what I want. I don't settle along the road until I get what I want. It took me from the time I graduated high school until last summer to get a LS1. Now I'm on my 2nd LS1! Because I DIDN'T settle. I could have put money into my Mustang, but you know what? It still wouldn't have been the Camaro I wanted. It would still not make the power a LS1 would with the same amount of mods.
There is my .02.
The Best V8 Stories One Small Block at Time
I lost to one of my friend's 305 TBIs a few times in my old 3.4L 'vert.
That has to be fairly close to what your blown LT1 ran. You ran a 13.3 or therabouts right? You get beat in the 1/8th by alot of stock L98 Camaros and Birds?
BTW:Nice Camaro in the pic

I understand your position on this. I think you have some very valid and logical reasons for your thoughts.
Everyone is different. Just because someone doesn't want the same thing as you doesn't mean they are settling.
Some people just can't grasp the concept that others like to do things the hard way or go the less traveled road. Why? maybe because they think they can or they wan't to prove they are able where others have failed. Maybe they get off on the idea that they can get more done with less. Who knows? They all seem to have different reasons.
All I know for sure is that at the end of the day it is going to take one hell of a special V-6 F-Body to take out my LS1 powered T/A

Are you retarded? They aren't fast stock. That's not **** talking that's the truth..
14.9@92? My GOD MAN!! Did he **** himself during that blistering pass?!!!
My four door grocery getter is quicker than that. As a matter of fact I ran a 14.6@96 with a carseat in the back of my GTP.That's still very slow.
Please come visit me with the blown GTA. Bring lots of money.
A healthy stock 350 TPI absolutely does not do high 15s in the quartermile- only with a driver that has no idea how to launch. It does low 15s to high 14s, that time isn't anything spectacular. They can be made quick once you swap the stock intake with an LT1 intake or an aftermarket one. My friend had an H/C/intake L98 that ran high 12s.
Cheatin chad, the statement i made was pretty ambiguous and is untrue. All i meant to do was illustrate the lowend power of the L98 thanks to the terrible flowing heads and intake.

the L98 in it's "best" form (90-92) was rated 245hp @ 4400 and 345tq @ 3200
Only available with an auto and came with 3.23's (90-92).
They were torque monsters, but ran out of steam up top. TPI wasn't even designed for the 350 anyway. It's more lively with the 305 LB9 (230hp/300tq ~ T5 w/3.42s).

what a joke...and you gotta love the chain steering wheels
