Well I'm about 6 foot, 180 lbs. I doubt I would have a chance against somebody who was 30 feet tall, and weighed almost half a ton...

ummm thats pretty messed up, you would expect the bee's to put up a better fight, but if i was one of those bee's and it wasn't the whole save the queen crap, i would of said, "screw this, some one opened a can and its not me, so im leavin"

Great vid, it kind of spellbounds you into watching the entire thing just to see the outcome. Thanks for sharing.

I was wondering that as well. The africanized honey bee is much more aggressive. They also tend to swarm very effectively. The european honeybees didn't seem to work as a group very well and were destriyed one by one.

I saw that entire program when it aired on Discovery or Animal planet or whatever. There was another type of honeybee in that region than knew how to defend against those hornets. They would let them enter the hive and then they would all vibrate. The temp in the hive would get so high the hornets would literally cook. Somehow the honeybees could tolerate a much higher temp. They would then carry those big dead bastards out and discard them.
I was up late one night getting dressed for a late shift when i saw that, and ended up being late for work. oh well.
