Vacation with the Firebird to NJ & FL
During the middle of April I took an 11 day vacation. I left the Charlotte,NC area and drove north to the Lake Hopatcong,NJ area. I then went south to sleep in Charlotte area and made my way to the beach in Sarasota,FL. Made my way as far south a Gasparilla island,FL. The round trip was 3,000 miles in 11 days.

Being a new F-Body owner, I would be curious to ask how you rate a long distance road trip in the car. Did you fold your rear seat down to store luggage or just pack light?
Good looking car btw, you kept it clean!

Thank you Monmouth
I rate it as being doable, I don't get out of the car sore so I am happy. It's a pony car with racing springs and nice Koni struts and shocks which help the ride quality. The rear seat had to be folded down I had my bicycle with me. For sure I have kept it cleaned with 167,000 miles.

It looks great for an original paint, 167k mile car!
I've taken a few long trips in mine, and it was great! Only trouble I ever had was a little unexpected snow in Montana, and damn road construction messing things up with gravel and/or fresh tar. Driveability wise though, it was great!

Something to do with the color in the photo from editing. Only the hatch has 20% tint all others are factory glass no tint.
