It's because the car has to make the 4-5 shift in the 1/4. It's a pretty harsh drop in RPM right near the end. On motor it still makes the 4-5 but it's right at the end of the track so the MPH isn't really effected. The car has a 2.77 rear gear in it and makes the 4-5 right around 115mph then the RPM's fall from 6300 to 5100 and it looses some steam. With a more aggressive gear (even with the 4.56 first gear) I think the car will be a lot quicker as 5th will be more usable.

Impressive! I watched a totally stock blue 16ss last weekend run consistent low 12's with a best of 12.06 on the stock street tires and then with a dr on the rear it ran a 11.90 something.
