[VR] Vengeance Racing at WannaGOFAST Virginia 1/2 Mile, April 2016 Another weekend at the WannaGOFAST 1/2 mile event is in the books, and Vengeance Racing once again took home the hardware in our classes! The weekend began with unfortunate weather, and racing could not take place on Saturday due to heavy fog and rain throughout the day. However, it did make for some excellent pictures while we were setting up in the beginning of the day.
Once the weather broke on Sunday morning however, the racing was on with clear skys over head! This weekend was a light turnout for our racers as most stayed back to prep for the hometown Georgia event that was only 2 weeks away. For this event, we brought out our FATMAN twin-turbo C6 Z06 competing in the sponsor rear wheel drive class, Eddie Blackwell's naturally aspirated C5 Z06 competing in the sponsor N/A class, and Robb Sutton's CTS-V competing in the sponsor 4-door class. We also had a few privateer vehicles competing. These included Gary Coyne's 1,000rwhp ZL1 Camaro, Kent Tysor's 650rwhp Procharged Camaro SS, and Randy Hunter's Gen III Cadillac CTS-V. Although elevation and humidity were hurting vehicle power (8,000+ DA!!), our cars still managed to run extremely well.

We would like to thank the teams at Nitrous Outlet, Precision Turbo, PPG Gearbox, RPM Transmissions, Weld Racing, Pro-EFI, AEM, and all of our other supporting vendors for supplying us the parts to make these cars perform as well as they do! We will be in Clayton, GA this weekend at the Heaven's Landing Airpark for another WannaGOFAST 1/2 mile event where we will be supporting over 40 LS/LT powered cars in the field each day, and hoping to once again help our customers bring home the hardware in their classes! If you will be at the event, make sure to stop by and say hello at the Vengeance Racing trailer in the pit area!
