Is that a sporty 1200?

I recently got a '83 1000. The last year before the motors went Evo. 95% stock, with 12Kmiles.

DOH... I always screw that up.

There seems to be A LOT of similar style parts on the bikes. How different are the bikes in physical size? The thing must be quick.

Physical size...the dyna is wider...wider back wheel/tire (2005 might be different), wider gas tank, wider seat, wider handlebars, wider motor(trans). It just looks fatter. My bro has a 1200 sporty and looks alot like my bike just skinnier.
And its quick enough for crusing, not quick enough for racing

Here ya go!

The red one is the wife's car the black one is mine, and the Phantom belongs to my cousin...but I do get to play with it from time to time The owners manual claims it can run 14.3 in the 1/4, I'm dying to see if I can get into the 13's with a 1/8th tank of gas.
