How to toast a clutch...

The clutch has been dying for weeks now. My tires *were* worse though. I figured i'd spend the tires then go for the clutch. My clutch wasn't doing too bad on the street, but at the track I couldn't even get one launch down... but now... well...

It took me a bit to figure it was the clutch. I didn't stop until I could tell it didn't smell like tires. But hey, it happens!

And BTW... it's the factory setup from 2000... with only 18K miles on it. Since I'm a bit hard up for cash, I'm going with a LS6 kit and some nitto's. Should last me a year.

IMO don't waste your time on the LS6. A Spec can be had for just a hundred more. I just yanked my LS6 clutch out this weekend. It was done at 30,000 miles and about 100 passes.
