Default Help - trying to run a Canon Digicam vid and cannot

I have two Canon S230 vids of my car, one pass at us41, the other a transbrake run on a side street.

I know I need the drivers, which one is it here?

http://www.canon-asia.com/downloads/...talCamera.html

And, once I have the driver's, how can i convert it so other folks can view them?

psj

DO you know what format they are in? Do you have them on the camera, and just can't get them to your computer, or are they on the computer, and just won't run?

If you just need drivers, try this.

If you are connecting the camera to a Win XP computer you should be able to pull the images off of the camera without installing any additional software. I haven't messed with a Canon, but my Kodak just shows up as an additional drive letter when connected and I can pull files off of it just like it was an additional drive. It saves movies as .mov files, not sure about your Canon though.

Are you trying to copy them directly or use the software that came with your camera?

Yeah, send me the vid at chad@dodds.cc. I have just about every player and codec out there installed on my system, maybe one of them will play it...
