My first Nascar event-
very enjoyable, but very hard to catch the cars in the cameras viewfinder.. the sound of it was sheer bliss!

Awesome pictures! I love NASCAR! (If you like cars, what is there not to like about it? I don't get it.) I've been to over ten races in the last few years and I might be at Bristol this August. I hope you enjoyed yourself enough to go again to a different track.

Nice pictures.

I'm not a NASCAR fan. Lets face it. The bodies are all the same with different headlights painted on the front. Whatever happened to when they raced real cars that had to be produced in certain number to qualify to race. This is how it was meant to be. Imagine never having the Superbird, Daytona, or Taledega muscle cars. Those things are real cars that people could drive on the street. NASCAR is actually closer to Trans Am racing now.

I could just see someone trying to stuff thier girlfriend through the window to go on a date.

That is why there is a difference between.. street cars.. and race cars. I guess they should have AC too, since your GF would not like to be stuffed into the car and not even have AC or a window. Why would you let your GF get in your car anyways

As a matter of fact a person buying a muscle car/NASCAR racer in the 60's and 70's was able to buy the actual race car with AC. Who's to say that should have ever changed. NASCAR's original intent was STOCK CAR racing. A factory showroom car that was able to run the oval with no problems.

I am just stating the facts of how it used to be. Take it up with NASCAR for not staying with the original spirit of the sport.

I live just a couple of hours away from Dayton and have never been to a Nascar event. I hope to catch next years pepsi 400, just so I can go to atleast 1 event. Hell, I have never been to a NHRA event and I only live a couple hours from the "Gator Nationals". Man, I need to get with it!

I live like 40 minutes from Texas Motor Speedway, i haven't been to a nascar race, but been to 2 IRL races, and live an hour or so from Enis, where the O'rielly Fall nationals are held, and haven't been to those, but i got the hook up for tickets so i might have to put that in the plans.

"You been runnin' open wheels."

"See, when the Japs get in a load a lettuce that they're not sure they want to let in to the country, they just let it sit out at the docks until they are good and ready to look at it. But by that time, there ain't nothin left, s'all gone rotten. Kinda like you two monkeys...." (not perfect but close enough)

Check out the other racer's names... Priceless.

Mark Tartan, Bill Jelliot, Dale Eamlots, Rick Pretty, Al Loser, Darrel Doortip.... "All names contained in this game are purely fictitious. Any similarity between these names and real drivers is purely coincidental."

Hmmm... Sure...
