*Video* Fbody vs. Enzo
97'RS6-BucketTurd,
The phenomenon refered to as 'the hand of God' is when you reach your aerodynamic limits and no matter how much power you have you will not go any faster. That is the reason the back wheel of a turbo busa is doing a burnout at 250 miles an hour at Bonneville and prolly why the Y2k was spinning the back tire at 180. How fun would that be?!

didn't mean to start anything
if i was given an Enzo-hell yeah I would enjoy it, but if i had the $$$$ to buy one, well i'd do what i posted
You could have an SS, a WS6 , A C5 , a C6 and a couple sweet Vipers for what that thing costs. Or a pimping house and a couple moded vipers

I even like the new Ford GT 10 000 X better for looks.

HP rating taken from dyno tests in American during Road & Tracks (the magazine) testing reviews.
Top speed:241.4 mph
0 - ¼ mile: 11.6 seconds
2002 Bugatti EB Veyron W-16/4: 4 more cylinders, 4 turbos, *341 more hp.
*Actually it's less. The car produces 1001hp on the European ECE horsepower scale.
That would be 987hp on the American-SAE net horsepower scale. Making it *327 more hp.
(don't ask me what's different because i don't know)
Top speed: 252.3 mph
0 - ¼ mile:I don't know where u heard 8 in the ¼ mile.
I couldn't manage to find any websites with a posted ¼ time.
(i searched through 6 sites)
So if u remember where u saw that time at i'd like to see it.
*The 1999 EB Veyron W-18/4 ran an 11.8 1/4 mile. (from Bugatti)*
Verdict:Only 10.9mph faster = Sad.

Claiming is one thing, facts are another.
By the way, i claim that my car is the fastest in the world, i can bench 1,000lbs, and i'll be moving into the playboy mansion in 3 days. Bunnys come with the mansion. I'll keep u guys posted on the party.
And before i get hosed for flamming, i'm not. I'm just posting the facts.

I gotcha, i was just taking the "amount of speed for the money" view of it in the realm of streetable vehicles. Anything above that is jet powered and insane.
Like: "1,228kph/763.055mph, Thrust SSC breaks the world land speed record with two Rolls Royce jet engines, producing a combined total of 100,000lbs of thrust force.
During its record-breaking run, Thrust SSC accelerated to 965.6kph/600mph in just 16 seconds. It smashed the record in style by becoming the first car to break the sound barrier." *from speed101.com*
Here's a picture of him breaking the sound barrier:
