That is Dave's car....AKA ( GI JOE) Unit cheated though, he went to the thread on SVT Performance and found the links. Hhaha, just kidding. Dave took it to the track and went for few runs on saturday. The car lost 3rd gear so they made all their runs from 1st to 2nd. The car is absolutely awesome, and I have to say it has been a blast seeing it transform over the past few years. As it sits he is expected to run low low 10.s and on into the 9's

Hey I hope you guys dont mind me posting here...I just wanted to take the opportunity to say thanks to all of you that said nice things about my car...Its been along project.
I also want to let you get a look at how it performed in the end...Acouple of changes occured since that parts list posted, the main one being it now has a C-4 3 speed automatic in it...The overdrive just did not cut the mustard. Also it now has a pretty set of bogarts that I know you chebby guys love...IN FACT, I chose them because of some of the people here at this site that has them on their cars...I was out here searching many months back.
Anyway the car a week or so ago ran two full 1/4 mile runs finally.
10.007 @ 129 1.388 60 ft
1 hour later
10.009 @ 133 1.385 60 ft
6.39's 1/8 times
here my story and some vids of the runs..
OH yea...btw...the speedo was all messed up on the dyno because the out cable on the tanny is the old style cable V/S the new electrical type. A few key strokes of magic from my tuner at modularpowerhouse and she's dead on now.

Dave glad you made it over. Your car has really made for some fun nights at the track. The night that you got it out there and made your first couple of pops of the line and amazed everyone My roomy and I also managed to embarass some ricers in his Mom's Mini van, and my Mom's Maxima. All I can say is that video of the track that night gets played at parties all the time and it is awesome. Thanks for the fun times man. Your car is awesome.
