I don't think it would've taken spray for a H/C C5 to take a 13-sec DSM, AWD or not. All it would take would be a little downshift, as illustraited in the vid.

if a low 12, high 11 sec. (heads/cam only) car can't beat a 13 sec dsm without nitrous then there is something terribly wrong...especially when a stock vette runs low 13's

I talked to doug about that video when he was installing my procharger and giving the SS a good tune. He has seen the video and said that he remembers building it for that guy.
