SS vs WS6
I got one when they first came out just to have fun in the class room. They have like 6 diff. electric engines for them low-speed high torqe to low torque highspeed. and thet have different gears for them and they actually have suspension in the front (it's rather crude but effective) and u can get different tires for them and full race chassis and all sorts of things.
They're cool, but for 1.....it gets expensive, 2 they're sort of hard to control. when you attempt turns, they have to be on a really smooth and clean surface otherwise you just do doughtnuts or keep going but have a very poor turning radius. Find a dusty counter top and if u play with it long enough you can manage a few drifts. ( I know this only because my power was out for 3 days due to Hurricane Francis)
But if u got money to burn go for it. These are the cheap ones of the bunch. the next step up are Kyosho Mini-Z's (at around $130
). And some of those are insanely fast for their size. Also my fathers buisness makes electrical compenent for model planes and cars amoungst many many other products.
So i'm around this stuff a good deal.
I'm not a nerd! i swear!

There's the site for them, some have "2 speeds." I just think it's a change in the amount of electricty sent to the engine for more power. Which could be the same kind as they used in the video to pop a wheelie cause mind sure as hell doens't do that.
