Yes, the cars been lowered. I used stock LS1 springs that were cut by a Machine Shop. The front springs were cut 1.5 coils while the back were cut 1 coil. It appears to have lowered the car by approx 2"s in the front and 1.5"s in the back. I also installed new Monroe shocks when I did the swap... it rides very well for a car lowered that much. I have no complaints about them except for the fact that I get a little more wheel hop now than at stock height *which is normal for a lowered car of course*, I need to get some LCA relocation brackets on there. I wouldn't recommend someone just chopping a coil or two off themselves, it'd probably be best to let a shop cut it properly
I've been riding on this setup for 7 months now with no issues of excessive tire wear, alignment probs etc etc.I get a lot of compliments in person over the stance it has... you may be able to tell in those pics that the front is down a little lower than the back. Gives it a little more aggressive look.
