It looks like any other Porche, BMW roadster, or other Euro sports car to me...

It looks appealing, except for the exhaust. It would definantly smack some asses though with that nice power to weight ratio.

Perpendicular fart cans need to go, it looks as though the hood is actuated so that probably helps the looks. If the fender cuts weren't so severe it would help as well. The plexi rear spoiler is trick, although this one is rather small and kind of Ford focus-ish.

There is an old VW Bug at my work who runs exhaust like that... the thing is, I _SWEAR_ they're aftermarket Harley mufflers.

Mufflers aside, the motor sounds just like two Harleys idling side by side. The bug is nasty.

What about the cool bug looking thing in the background on the fourth picture. I'd drop an Ls1 in that.

Those are sweet looking, don't realy care for the exhaust though. Rice is only if you don't have the Hp to back it up. The TVR speed 12 was a 800hp v12 monster

That one looks great, I especially like the one behind it to the left. I have seen those before in the Gumball Rally, just beautiful!

I liked the Sagaris so much I’ve put a deposit on one, so I thought I could answer a few of the questions you guys have.

The styling is pretty far out, but believe me, wait until you see one in the flesh. That car is going to stop traffic everywhere. The silver one in the pictures is the first prototype. The back end on it is a bit of a mess but you can’t really see it in the photos.

The red one is the newer pre-production prototype where they’ve tidied the back up. I expect they may make some more changes before production starts but I think the side exhausts will stay. I’ve seen the same red car with black carbon fibre exhaust cans on it instead of chrome ones.

The “axe cuts” over the wheel arches are to prevent air pressure build up around the wheels. This reduces lift at high speed. The same idea is used on many Le Mans race cars. (BTW the name “Sagaris” comes from the name of an ancient Greek war axe). The vents in the hood/bonnet are for cooling. They are supposed to be electronically operated to automatically open and close depending on engine temperature, but this idea may not make production.

The bubble in the roof is to allow space for taller drivers wearing helmets when the car is used on the track. The Perspex rear spoiler is necessary to keep it stable at very high speed. I asked about having it taken of and was told that TVR won’t remove it because it makes a real difference to the high speed handling. It’s clear perspex to help rear visibility – it’s nice to be able to see all the police cars trying to catch up with you!

The current engine is a 6 cylinder straight six putting out 400BHP. Performance is likely to be 0-60 below 4 seconds, 0-100 below 9 seconds and a top speed in excess of 190mph. They are rumours of a possible supercharged version with around 580BHP.

Definitely not me, but a clean looking car.

I like the black thing next to the dumpsters in the top pic.
