Stu, you must have missed this post by Buff:
"Well, I am the owner of the Z06. In terms of the power issue , it is just how extreme you want the car. It comes down to how big of a cam you want. I just got a little 224/228 in the car. I wanted a stealthy package, not no NASCAR sounding car."

SRT 4, Not sure what the X package is. So its cam only? Just tryin to get a gauge on how well H/C packages are working on ZO6s. Thinkin of gettin one and I want a stealthy package. My old Z28 had a 224/224 cam in it with TEA heads and I trapped 120. I want a ZO6 thats a highway warrior but without the "big cam" issues.
HMS, Thats like me saying I R2 a HF R/T yesterday on the C-5. Doesnt help me a bit. Sorry.
Thanks, Stu

Stu dont judge Buff's car from the Vid. Jim's neon is quick, I have seen him Trap over 120 mph at the track. Try PMing Buff to get more details of his setup. I know him and he does not beat on his car to hard at the track. With slicks his car would be capable of some serious ets, but he does not choose to run it that way.
It is a H/C setup but you cannot tell anything about it from the vid.

...that's a pretty damned quick Neon though.

Like Buff said, he doesnt have a huge cam in that car. In person if you didnt know what a stock Z06 sounded like, you might think it was the stock cam. It lopes but not that hard.
As for the new 1/4 mile times, I am dissapointed they closed the track so early.
Anyways, thanks for the props. That Z06 is a badass car.

And i didnt' put a H/C in my car just to be a self-proclaimed track god or something. i put it in there to have something that could hang better with a stock Viper than a stock Z06. And another damn reason is to bust little e-shittalkers like yourself by putting buslenghts on ya
