2 LS1 Conversions Race! Video inside... What a night... I actually got to meet another LS1 Conversion guy in my area! LS1 68Camaro is his SN i believe.. he'll post up here in a bit I'm sure.
Anyways.. here's the scoop:
2 races, 1 from a 30 roll, the other from a 40 roll
My car: 1991 Nissan 300zx LS1 - stock motor, stock 98 manifolds
His car: 1968 Camaro SS LS1 - stock motor, Stainless Works LT's, gutted interior, FAST
The first race he missed a shift or two... I should have video'd his Tach playback!
The second race.. he whooped me royally.. which is exactly what I was expecting. 
It was MUCH fun getting 2 LS1 conversions to race though.

HEHE iv been waiting for this vid Good work on the editing. Yea it was very fun. You'll don't even want to know what happened the 1st run but is it possible for a ls1 to go to 8k on a missed shift b/c thats what my playback tach said. And yes the engine is still running, for now atleast and it performed on the 2nd run.

Maybe some practice and some confidence will fix that.
Good luck to ya. It wouldn't have been that bad if you ripped some gears.

You're talking about me in the 300z right? I know what you mean... My trans needs a ton of work... 3rd gear tries to pop me out everytime the clutch engages.. so I have to reeeaallly baby it into 3rd. Once the trans is fixed, I'll be shiftin like a champ again.
