my friend that owns one of Rob raymers old cars did that on a street tire right in front of me he broke 4 1/2in studs to do it on a 9 inch btw...346 with a T-88

thats why we'd put cotter keys in the sprintcar axle's. the rear end (quick change) has a single shaft sticking out each side (like 3" in diameter) with splines on it, with one huge lug nut. the right rear is left handed threads also
