i have seen that before but it was a few sec longer. it showed the axle just broke off right at the flange and it didn't look like a wimpy axle either.

Not sure what he did or didn't do to cause that, but typically it's the people that dump all the money into the motor & nothing else that these types of things happen too.

not lugs, it was the axle right at the flange. and like i said it looked like a big axle. let me see if i can find the full vid.

it was the axle flange that in fact broke. that car was on drag radials. small block powered. don't doubt the BFG's hehe

anyone else notice that guy can drive?

he saved it from the wall.or atleast from head on to the wall.that was pretty impressive.

Man you guys need some help. There is no need for a 9", there were not loose lug nuts. The cause of this accident was one of two things: a standard quality MOSER axle, or failure due to immense loads put on drag radial car axles from the tire shake they get into with a radial type tire. The axle sheared off right outside of the c- clip eliminator and the hub with all the lug nuts still in place were bolted to the center of the wheel.
