did anybody see what happened to us here is pittsburgh when we had down pours and pittsburgh was flooded out in sept.???? 4 buildings down from where my brother works near etna....is gone!!!!!!!! water does some serious damage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
its horrible that sooo many ppl r going to die b/c of no where to go...and alll of the dieases!!!! its a complete shame!!!!

COORDINATES - 3.5 SOUTH 135.2 EAST
LOCATION - IRIAN JAYA REGION INDONESIA
MAGNITUDE - 7.1
EVALUATION
NO DESTRUCTIVE PACIFIC-WIDE TSUNAMI THREAT EXISTS BASED ON
HISTORICAL EARTHQUAKE AND TSUNAMI DATA.
HOWEVER - EARTHQUAKES OF THIS SIZE SOMETIMES GENERATE LOCAL
TSUNAMIS THAT CAN BE DESTRUCTIVE ALONG COASTS LOCATED NEAR THE
EARTHQUAKE EPICENTER. AUTHORITIES IN THE REGION OF THE EPICENTER
SHOULD BE AWARE OF THIS POSSIBILITY.
