No need for all the arguing. The paper today said that the Indian ocean didn't have the detection devices that the pacific did. Also, the death toll topping 100K IS expected. It is expected from disease. This truly is horrible, as if we need ridiculously huge natural disasters to wipe us out. The world seems to be on a downward spiral as it is. I cant imagine the situation over there, I am aware of it but most of us cant really comprehend it.(including myself) We've been desensitized to media.

It's like, "Yeah cool, I'm going to the beach."

"Oh, damn I cant believe I survived that. Almost everyone at the beach got washed away."

"I better go home to see if everyone's OK."

"Oh ****, what home?"

"Man, I'm worried about everyone. I cant find ANYONE!"

"Jesus, there's thousands dead. I need to find my family."

"Cough, Cough, man I dont feel to good. I need to get away from these corpses."

"Yeah, I'm dead now too. But so is all my family and it's not as if I had a life left to live anyway." No family, no possessions, nothing.

Can someone tell me if this picture has been chopped? I'm referring specifically to the onlooker in the black t-shirt watching the Tsunami victim be carried by on the stretcher. Thanks.

The Bin Laden pic does not look photoshopped up close but, could be a very good chop job. Doesn't look like it though.

Too bad the tsunami didn't get that guy.

He is a "HERO" in the minds of MANY middle-easterns. Did you see the Palestinians celebrating in the street on 9/11?

Too bad t-shirts are non-traditional clothing, which goes against his superconservative agenda .

BadAndy, I'm in total agreement that more should have been done to forewarn the people but I guess they didn't because they weren't sure what magnitude they'd be dealing with.??? Who knows.
