granted, the guy in the trans am was a major dumbass (12.7? hehehehehe!!!!)...but still.....

not sure what part your bsing...you saying that a turbo b20 should rape a stock ls1 or that a stock ls1 would out run a turbo b20?

You go do up a b20 block with vtec head and throw 10psi on it hell yea its fast. Just doing a b20 block and vtec head makes torque on those motors amazing. I could see it keeping up with a LS1 or even maybe beating it some

 

I liked the way the video was done. I wouldn't call BS. Good race.

 

it was balogne..might not be correct spelling. But i don't like it. Never some anyone laugh while getting pulled on by an import

all im saying is that yeah, a b20 can be made quick with the proper head work, manifold, injectors blah blah blah.......and a bare interior.....bla blah blah...

my point is that the vid seem to "well edited"

HA! I've talked to that guy in the T/A before. He works at a deli near me. He told me over the summer that he ran 12.7 or at I least I thought he said he ran it rather than just an estimate.
What's even more is that I was behind that civic coming home from work tonight. My Iroc is (daily driver) is running like **** otherwise I was gonna mess with him expecting just another ricer but that would've been some surprise huh?
I'll have to keep an eye out while cruising around now.

 

The (turbo'd) imports are getting quick....got a few running around town here giving my Z a fit
One CRX makes like 20lbs and runs way in the low 11s (when it hooks) and the other car he has (so he says running 5-6lbs) would defintely run down a stock LS1.
2000 lbs (race weight) and 300+hp = low 11s
