Most stock 99+ GT's make at least 230 at the tires stock. Add boost, Exhaust, and power pipe you are right near 400RWHP.

FYI, the LS1 in the vid made over 560rwhp so it's a fast SOB, don't be so quick to put down the Stang. And for those of you all horny over race #3, the Stang doubled up on 3rd and that's why the LS1 got out. He still got reeled in though.
BTW, the GT just got dyno'd last night with some real boost in it and a tune.

funny thing is when you lose like that is that you dont feel like you lost bu tin reality, you did!! That sucks in a way bu tit just makes me want to get better and faster.
THe dyno of the stang on 22psi was pretty nasty!!! you smack that much boost on anything any you'll be graciously surprised if she can hold.
i would like to see the ls1 on 22psi turbo vs the gt on 22psi turbo. im not baised but...well you be the judge...
good vids though, clean racing and no one got hurt, just the way it should be......unless your john jett (pred03) and just wants to fight everyone!!!!

jesus people. what happened to "nice car" or some other form of compliment? instead its some cocky *** attitude about one stupid *** part of the race or another. i mean does the concept of low boost really evade you people that much? 14 psi on a built motor aint ****. but of course that doesnt matter to you does it?

On a side note it reminds me of a race I had with a Turboed GT. He blew off at me so I ran him down on the highway. He hit it in front of me and I followed suit. I stayed on his *** for a bout 5 seconds and then came around him and went past him about 130 mph. He pulled up next to me when we let off and couldnt believe it. He asked me how much HP I had and I told him about 550. He just shook his head and went on.

are you guys being serious????? turbos are way better than blowers hands down...the tubos thay have now there really no spool time,plus the torque of a turbo is much better than a blower...
and im calling bs on the 560rwhp on the camaro unless the dyno guys hit the customer happy button on the dyno that day...my 01 ss with a 150hp shot made 435rwhp with bolt on's..no way does a cam add 150 more hp...

Oh god here we go. The Stang already put down 813rwhp a few days later on the dyno. Imagine if it was a serious motor. Imagine if the LS1 was a twin turbo 427. Imagine if the Stang was a twin 88mm 430ci Dart motor....etc. etc.
I don't see how the vid shows anything rules, the cars were pretty evenly matched during the races.
murph - The SS made 411rwhp N/A, and it's got a TNT 100 shot. I'm sure we're all familiar with how TNT rates their nitrous hits. Perhaps the guys from TSP can chime in here and vouch for the SS?
