What makes a supra so special? Anyone who is around LS1 on a regular basis knows that the LS1 is a high contender in the game of the Supra......Forced induction LS1 are sick.....but then again, I think they are breed for nitrous. Ever see a daily driver dyno over 670rwhp with stock internals? I have......

BTW, spending $40k on a Toyota doesn't sit well with me either......

Don't get me wrong I like the cars, just my opinion on them.....
I'm around both all the time or use to be as my a few of my neighbors have owned them. bpu++ supra>bolt on ls1 by the way my buddy's supra makes 725+ whp. And thats everyday on stock internals. Bling? He has none and runs on 17 inch silver rims not 19s. $40k his was $20k.

The only thing i would trade my T\a in for is a supra. TT, M6.
I wanted to buy one, but 30-45k for a 96 TT targa, was insane.
I'd even go for the A4....but, oh well.

screw the car(fugly IMO), its the 2jz-gte under the hood that is amazing.
980hp stock bottom end, granted you couldnt run those high numbers daily.
this site has a top ten hp list
http://www.t04r.com/toptenhp.php
some of the are over 980 but I think that is the highest stock bottom.

The motor is amazing. I like the looks of a 300zx better though. The RB26DETT is also an ill motor..

Just got a run on there Friday....1 Formula, 1 SS, and a 350Z all at once......The Z was nothing, but the two F-bodies were fun....I was catching up to the geared one after his weakened up top. Had to cut it short due to a suspension issue.....had the QA1s on 12!!! The SS had a cat back only...

Wow I never knew so many people knew so little of the potential of LS1 cars, and were so willing to trade for a Supra. Just drop a nice turbo/supercharger/nitrous setup in a LS1 car.....yeah Supra's duh bomb yo! No, they are just a player in the high stakes game.....they are not the best. The same goes for the LS1, not the best, just a player....or am I wrong that a street legal LS1 ran a 7.9X? Not a Nopi drag car......just a thought......:dunno:

Any car has potential. Its all up to how much your wallet can support. Thats what cars come down to. Personal preference and how much you are able to spend on it to do what you want it to do. There are alot of cars out there that have excellent potential to go as fast as you can afford to go. It's all up to what car you want to do that in. And also how much you can afford to spend to do it.

And I love Supras. I think they are amazing cars. Say all you want but those cars can put out some devestating numbers on stock internals, and all out of a 6 cylinder. And also I happen to love how they look. I think they did an excellent job with that car inside and out. I for one would love to own one someday. But i'll never get rid of my Trans Am to get it.

I prefer my Trans Am over anything else. I love it and I think it is one of the best looking cars in my eye. Thats all that matters to me. And thats why i'm putting all my money into making it fast. It also has tons of potential and i'm going to use every bit of it.

Back on topic. Awesome vid. I don't care what happened that Lambo is dead sexy.
