That's for sure, and what's the deal with the vid title saying 300 shot, and the actual video states he is spraying a 55 shot?? that was just 412 c.i. of SBC muscle, with a little bit of giggle gas to numb the the EVO's pain!! lol

im sure theres many faster car than that evo on the roads, but it is quite impressive that a 2.5l four banger is putting out those kinds of numbers. impressive indeed.

Hell u could put a 100+ trim on any car. John Sheppard who has a the same 4g63 is running a 74 trim with just a 100 shot off the line. And hes running 8.4's. I have seen a 88 trim on the same 4g63 but it had a 100 shot (did 1223 to all wheels)

Damn all wheel drive cars........

yeah they always brake with big power and it costs thousands to replace weak parts with weak parts and get ready to do it again

look at lingenfelters ecotec cavalier they had....Yes it was a full drag car but it did still have an ecotec motor that put the car in the 6s...Hey wait that means if I get a cobalt ss I too can run 6s
I cant even begin to comprehend how some of these little motors are pushin that much power.. Props to the right mods and good tuning

Those cars are out of Pensacola, FL. James and I at RWTD tuned the Z06 the week prior to the race after the combo was together. It is a 347 forged by A&A with a 224/228 cam and 205 afr heads. The car is seeing 8lbs of boost from a P1SC on pump gas and is pretty nasty. I think I have talked the owner into rolling out on race gas one night and putting a more aggessive tune in the car as the one he is running is super safe due to the florida heat.

BTW.......I've rode in the EVO and that bastard is just plain friggin nasty! I was truely impressed by the all around power of the car and the owner is one of the nicest guys you will ever met!

Imagine if that Z06 with the power it had, would have been AWD to. That would have been insane!

Sorry but that trailored-in drag car might as well be an F-16 that the EVO was racing. Those hunks of junk break every other time they run on the track and we all know how long that holds up the lines. When it loses to a real street car, then its a kill. Sounded awesome nonetheless.

Not true, I go to LACR(1/4 mile) with a buddy who used to run his 68 camaro, Small block running in the 8's, on 5 out of 6 runs (1 run pulled wheels to high off) and he used to drive the car around in Burbank (a.k.a. rapebank, cops arent friendly) without any hassle, it was a full muffler car and everything, then he threw a supercharged dart 572 on alchohol, broke the dyno and the trans at the same time under 6k rpms and recorded over 2500 hp!!!

Whats not true? Unless you are talking about the same Camaro in the vid that doesn't matter. That car is not a legit street car, not like the Cobras and Z06 that the EVO has been racing. Those are street cars and those races are great to watch. I just can't understand how anyone would be impressed with an old trailored-in drag car slowly walking a full-interior turboed street car. What do you expect to happen?

Hasn't this been discussed already? It doesn't matter if the Camaro was a street car or not, because the evo owner AGREED to race it. When the evo lost, it wasn't like he was tricked or something, he agreed to run and then he lost. End of story.

Where did I say it wasn't a race? It LOST, and it was to a car you won't ever see anywhere other than a drag strip 99% of the time or a junk yard. I agree though, end of story, its been picked, scabbed over, and picked again for the last time.
