03/04 Cobra's can't be beat

we need to get some 7.0 liters or some nitrous out there, maybe both. prochargers make great power, but they could use a little more torque, it really drops off up top. or we need to get some twin turbo LS1s out there. turbos make great torque and there's no parasitic loss. this evo has been all over the net for awhile now, i don't know how any of these faster LS1's haven't sniffed him out yet.
i'm not trying to bash the evo, that car is awesome, and it's making all that power trough AWD. but being an LS1 owner, it's always nice to see one of our own on top. especially since i know they are out there

nicley said, would be awsome to see a fellow ls1 owner take this car down, myself would love to see a new gto do the deed, but we can not compete with the power of the vettes/ f-bodies yet, there isnt hardly any one that is really fast yet.... i think its just the type of person who buys the car, and i think Gto owners are afraid of nitrous, that is y i am getting the nx wet kit, and other goodies so i can start my way up the modding trail to make huge power like my fellow ls1 brothers

The Evo Is Here In Pensacola,fl....and I Would Hope To See Ben Race Him When He Gets His Motor In...i Believe Its A 408 With A 200 Shot.... We Have An 1/8 Mile Track And I Dont Know If He Was Running Full Boost But I Think He Ran A 7.3.....i Will Try To Find The Vid

i dont get it, on the site it runs 10.1?? how can noone beat it? whats it run in the 1/4 mile? I saw how much it takes to get a stock one into the 10s, 16,000 dollars, holy crap!

its quick but definatly beatable...the cars its racing are way less built than the evo...it shows a z-28 get smoked but it has a 100 shot....give a f-body somethin more comparable to 30 somethin psi of boost and i gaurantee the outcome is different

Just so everyone know(since he's been accused of this on every other forum)....Chris(the owner of the EVO) is one of the most humble people you could meet and is all about having fun...and neither himself or any of his friends think the car is unbeatable or anything of that sort.
