i dont think it ATE the Z06. watch the video and numerous times the vette pulls the Evo hard. i think it was somewhat gearing on the vettes part. either way i dont think it would have ATE the evo but it would have been a very very very close race.

the problem is the evo can put down 640whp, how is anyone going to put down well over that just to beat the evo on the streets? Not gonna happen with a street car, maybe on some slicks from a high roll, but if you notice every one of his vids are froma 40 or so roll...he knows better. I think its safe to say he is not going down to anyone anytime soon. However there is a big meet in orlando this weekend at the place i had my dsm dynoed last week...there are some 130+mph dsms showing up with one of them supposedly already lined up to run the evo...maybe he will be going down this weekend consodering this should be his best competition yet

Chris may not be bringing the car down that weekend..so once again, rumors have started by whoever is claiming that they have a race lined up(another rumor had started that Chris is calling anyone out to run that weekend haha). He has to drive back down there in a couple of weeks yet again, so he may just leave the car up here in Pensacola this weeked(it's a 14 hour round trip from Pensacola to Orlando) and jump in with someone else...but theres no definite to that yet. But it will be down there again soon enough!

that sucks, yeah the guys in orlando supposedly had him set up to run one of 2 of the fastest dsms in fla...oh well that sucks...id run him but im untuned and i only put down 458/441, compared to his 600+. as of now im still out of his league for at least another month, until i get the link, my meth kit and some cams, then up the boost and shoot for 600. I guess well see, i love his car and all but the only thing better then seeing him go down to an ls1 would be seing him go down to a dsm

MM would walk all over this car and i bet harlans old setup would do the same. it takes time and money. thats all that guy did. there are several cars on this board that would destroy that thing. nineballs 69 with more boost would walk that thing. cannibals new set up with a shot of nitrous would walk on it. time and money. by the way i would love to see parish race it from a dig.

Get him to come up the coast and we'll smoke 'em with a full interior street f-body . We're probably be talking busses, not car lengths.
We could arrange so the car is driven to the track , hell, even will go through McDonalds drive through and order without shutting it off, on the way to the track/location.
Just a thought... and a challenge I guess.

Not starting anything but if you have to go thru such lengths to prove that its streetable then chances are that just based of of looks its streetability is questionable. I might be wrong but I THINK what the thread starter is looking for is a car that is in the same category as the EVO. i.e looks completely and sound completly stock, but packs a punch.

Uhhh..if you EVO is the car being challenged, then why should he be the one that has to do the traveling? Why don't you drive the car from NY to FL and we will see how streetable it is.

you have to understand they dont do so hot at the track due to their drivetrain.. they are not strong esp w/ that much power...hence probably why he bogs...

it is a bad *** ride, and that turbo shows its power from a roll...

of course the cars above are GW's due to the fact that they out power the car...but give the dude some credit...plus i hear the owner of the evo is loaded
