i agree that evo is hardcore fast... but in street racing there is no real way to see what car is considered faster.... take into account that when yall make a 45 pull... there is no light to say go... so for that .5 seconds someone may get a little advantage...
i have never been a fan of street racing too much bullshit for me....
the only way anyone will ever get a victory in street racing is if they flat out pull them by 2 or more car lengths... because if they dont then the excuses start...
just leave the racing at the track and leave the bullshit at home....
at the track anything goes.... leave you pacifier at the water box...
run what ya brung and shut up....

The evo is a bad *** car and the dude that owns it doesn't seem to be looking for trouble, However Powells Camaro traps mid 140's letting off before the 1000 foot. That's not a race thats a slaughter..

look the owner of this car doesn't seam to be looking for trouble. so why start a problem where their isn't one? some people are taking this wayyy to seriously. the evo is fast, but so are many other cars including stangs.. where is he from? im not reading 5 pages worth to find out..
id give him a run if he were around here.. i know a full interior fully streetable tagged 347 lx mustang that runs a high 8 and is not on a trailor for hte most part around here that would take him... also a few FI fbodies around here in southcarolina.... im sure if this guys is from texas, everyong is from texas this is how i guess, then there is somoene down there that can get the job done... only a matter of time.

one more thing, cars like this evo, are fast on the street.. lets not worship it to much... if anything give credit to who built it for the guy.. cuz all it took was MONEY nad lots of it.. im sure if we all had that much, then running single digits would be reality for everyone here... so lets not feel subpar..

I'm amazed with the reponse here, people are talking about MM this, 8 second mustang that, as if racing at the track and street are the same, I have personally seen a 8 second hemi road runner that was trailored get waxed on the street.
if anyone here is a multiforum hopper. or a long time member of supraforums.com, you might of heard of the motormatrix civic. he rose to the same EVO status years ago after beating every bike and heavily worked car he ran into, but most memorable he beat Jesus Rivera's 1000rwhp supra byFOUR cars. he also beat a nissan 240 with a 800rwhp skyline motor, I even had that one on video. and to tis day he was never ran faster than 11.1 at the track.
