Cobra vs Gallardo
At our track Gallardos can only muster mid to low 13s. 4 wheel street burnouts really depends on whether they are a stick or e-gear (auto) cars. I drove and 04 Gallardo w/e-gear and it sucked out of the hole, once it got into its power range though (about 3500 to 4000 on up) it pulled like a friggin jet.

I hate to bring up a thread that looks like it is well going away but a few things.
Isn't the Gallardo a AWD V10, it has 500 hp and runs mid 12's. How would it suck out of the whole?
Also, it's cool to race exotics, but people brag about beating them when your are a highly modded or at least modded car. Seems a bit unfair, now if you beat a SVVT Diablo that would be cool.
Not trying to start anything but just a few things to ponder.
EDIT: I also believe this car weighs well according to their website, 1430 kg.

Yeah there's a big argument on a couple local boards because some of the Mustang fanboys seemed to get their feelings to hurt.
What they fail to realize is that car is built for top speed. That Cobra might beat him from a dig or whatever to a certain speed, but that Gallardo is gonna start pulling hard up top.

I guess gearing is what it comes down to then in this race. Either way, both cars are friggin sweet.

What you have to understand is that the Gallardo redlines at 8500rpm. The highway is where these cars live. I'm not saying that they're not fast out of the hole, but the Gallardo does like 105 in 2nd gear. I'm already in 4th in my Z.
