Of course they aren't designed for 1/4 mile blasts. I've yet to ride in/drive a Lambo. I've seen them up close though...absolutely amazing cars.

Yeah, the Gallardo may run 12's, but look at its trap speed: totally tells you they aren't meant for 1/4 mile runs, but high speed stints. There's more to exotics than just 1/4 mile acceleration.

Guys.. sorry for that, i'm agree with 98NBM because i don't think so for that Gallardo is in that quick, maybe after 150MPH it will be quick.

Not great for a Lambo. I hate to break it to you, but a car that can run low 12's out of the box is VERY fast. They don't cost alot of money just so they can run a 1/4 mile. Have you ever been in one doing 150 and above? They are the most stable cars at speed I have ever been in. The way they handle is absolutely incredible. It's as though they're glued to the ground. The brakes are massive and will put your eyeballs in the back of your head. The fit and finish of the cars is 2nd to none.
You get what you pay for, and what your getting is one truly amazing machine.

this video seems fishy
i saw a vid of a stock gallardo the other day and it put down 411hp,granted the exhast would give it more hp,but the cobra put down 496rwhp.that would seem to more than make up for the weight
the aero of the lambo is obviosly superior but not at the speeds they raced at initially
say the lambo w/exhast would tap 120 as opposed to 118 stock,a 496rwhp cobra sould should rape that car
