The only thing i can think of is that these guys thought they woudl pull a jackass like stunt and poor timmy pulled the small straw. poor ******.

I was always told that the white powder inside flourescent bulbs was very poisonous if it got in to your blood stream.

It is. If/when a florescent bulb breaks/shatters and you're near by, you're not to breathe in any of the dust. It's extremely poisonous. Whatever happened with the kid, he definitely got fucked up either way.
