I can't imagine how the tranny could hold that kind of power, let alone the stock engine...

its a local sho that has 400-500whp from what i remember from tulsa oklahoma

Forged pistons, other than that, engine is completely stock. But even stock piston SHO's have seen more power, one to the tune of 467whp. But the forged slugs sure take a lot more abuse. This engine has over 65k boosted miles on it.

And the trans, yeah, they don't really hold up. I just blew up my 3rd or 4th, not sure which. Tried cryo'ing, tried shot peening. Nothing works. I am going to have to bite the bullet and spend some serious change on a heavy duty gearset that one company made.

That yamaha V-6 is one of the best engines ever built!! I have always thought that.
