Now to get the rear and driveshaft done, get it tuned and hit the track.

^ You can see in the vid where the info is, that he's running LT's, ORY, and Hooker catback. That combination actually sounds badass, and is one of the better sounding LT+ORY+catback combos out there for our cars. I thought the same thing about the idle, but figured it's just the quality of the video/audio.

I can guarantee I'd be having tight pants listening to that thing in person.

PS - the Buckeyes suck... the HAWKeyes are where it's at!

Yeah, the vid doesn't do it justice. Plus, it still isn't tuned. I put the cam in a yr ago, but I have barely had time to work on or drive the car since then, so I haven't put many miles on it w/ the stock tune anyway. As soon as the drivetrain is all put in, I'm tuning it. Might not even be this yr though, way too busy.

PS-The Haweyes got nothing for the Buckeyes. While our offense is usually shaky, we almost always have one of the top defenses in the nation. Next week vs. Texas will be our first test though, we'll see how good we are then.

If it aint tuned how the hell you get it to idle so well? Sounds liek it jsut oasts back to 1k adn dont dip to 500 adn then catch itself liek a untuned car usually does. Sounds hot man. GL

It's always been like that. I bumped the idle up to ~950, but that's it. I have a ported tb with a hole that came in it, maybe that helps? I don't know, but it's very easy to drive and gets a lot of thumbs up from people.

The TRex sounds wicked. Kudos to you for doing the install yourself. It's always fun when you fire her up the first time and **** doesn't fly apart!

Who's going to tune it?

I bought HP Tuners to do it myself. But since I'm running out of time and I have no time b/c of work, I might take it up to Livernois. Just depends. I'm stuck on my 9" install b/c I can't weld and need to have the LCA brackets re-welded in the correct postion. If the car was drivable, I'd probably just take it up there and have them finish it. I like to do all the work myself (ok, sometimes I HATE it, lol), but time just isn't on my side right now.
