The entire point of this testing was see how the drivetrain would stand up to continual punishment - suffice to say that the tires will give up well before the drivetrain does.

There was a real purpose to the testing, we'd like to know what the drivetrain will cop in terms of punishment on the street.

Then put a slick on it. All that "testing" is meaningless on a street tire.

Gee you guys are hard to please, I feel that a 200 WHP gain (330 WHP to 530 WHP) at only 6.5 psi on 93 octane pump fuel is fairly impressive from a dead stock engine.

Stock LS2 GTO has 330 WHP, with the TT system installed at tuned for 6.5 psi the WHP increased to 530 WHP, that's a 200 WHP gain.

I think the APS kit is simply badass! I have installed 3 of the APS kits on Nissan 350Z's and the fit and finish is awesome. It seems to me that these kits are tailored very well to the engines they are designed for, and have a nice usable torque and hp curve. How much is the GTO kit?

Peter,

I made that comment prior to knowing you were only running 6.5psi.
Don't take offense to our comments. That's a badass car and I'm sure
it'll make a ton of power with the boost cranked up. We're a tough
crowd that's all. Keep in mind that many of us are making 700+rwhp
and feel it's not enough!

Keep cranking out big power cars!

Thanks and I'm happy to know you that you fully understand that the WHP is in fact quite impressive for low boost pressure on pump fuel with a totally stock engine - to be frank I don't think this car would handle 700+WHP as traction is a huge problem unless the car is on slicks.

Thanks for those kind words and that's exactly the design intent of the intercooled twin turbo system. That is to provide a very strong torque and power curve across the entire rpm range with a stock LS1/LS2 engine and to return the best possible fuel economy when driven calmly at normal road speeds, all good.

Peter
