Sweet car man! Ever go to the track? I'm curious what kind of numbers you put down with that setup.

I don't 100% agree, although any motor has the ability to burn pistons. If you look at the motors that have blown under spray or high boost, they were running retarded timing, lean a/f's, and the most important correlation, they were running pump gas BUT, when it does go, I'm putting the mmr 900 shortblock in and running some REAL spray (dual stage 200 shot).

Sounds like a good plan! I'm preparing myself for the day my motor lets go. The IRS just let go at the track last week. The solid axle install will be complete in a few days.

wheel hop? Mine's still together and I plan on keeping it, but I'm curious as to what broke inside your irs, the half shafts or the carrier?

I agree. Not only this, but just look at some of your very own LS1's. On safe tunes and well over 500rwhp (lots in the 6xx's) they live for real lengthy periods, even with weaker internals.

Zero wheel hop. The torque from the nitrous twisted the passenger side half shaft and snapped it like a pretzel.

I hope I like it! But it's going to have to wait untill after the 11th now I have a track rental and my current setup seems trouble free, so I don't think I'm going to be changing it.

17* timing
10.9/11.0 a/f across the board
5 gallons of motorsport 103 mixed with sunoco 94

If any high power combo is going to last, I think I have found it
