But you could of gotten out of the vehicle and if he started to come at you with the bat he was holding, then that is a justifiable deadly force situation. If I didn't have a firearm, I would have probably ran him over. In court you could articulate that you reasonably believed your life, and the life of others was in great harm and all you were donig was stopping the threat and protecting your life and the life of others. The way he broke out those side windows would be reason enough because he could of gone to the next window which would have been the front passenger, and the bat could of struck the passenger in the head.

yea, but still a gun would have been excessive force against the bat or pipe, if you were going to use a weapon and it be legal in the eye of the court, it would have to be something comparable to the weapon you are being threatened or assaulted with all things being equal...i still would have shot him though...hey, he was trying to kill my baby..lol

feel bad for the pt owner but there was room to run his *** over, as bad as it is he was just playing badass, he didn't have any intention to harm the driver physically he went after every window except hers, but a dumb **** like that deserved to get shot or ran over. I watched and immediately after that first hit I thought try to run that ****** over, oh well.

I think a bat or pipe can be used as deadly force. What if he hit you in the head with the bat? If someone were running straight towards me with a bat...I would draw down on them and fire if they didnt stop
