Looks like the vette didnt get a good start. He was delayed but once he got on it the Gallardo stopped pulling. I guess that shows how fast the Z06 is if you can give a Gallardo a 1 second jump and then pull away.

I know the Gallardo is rated at 500HP, and the Murc is rated at 580....just how big of a difference there is between the two is more of waht I was trying to get at.

A few things to keep in mind:

1) The gallardo has a Tubi exhaust on it, the Z is bone stock
2) The Gallardo gets to honk AND gets the jump
3) The Z was in 2nd gear at 40 while the Gallardo was in 1st gear
4) Z was still pulling away when they shut down
5) race went from 40-160
6) Gallardo was 3 cars behind

Moral of the story:

Gallardo gets walked by the Z while the Z is in the wrong gear and giving the Gallardo a jump..
