All I can say is what would you expect.. 38K cobra w a 390 base hp, with about 2K in mods, not all motor mods, and a 75K car, with a base of 505 hp, and 1/2 the aero drag..... I'd expect nothing else.
Hell, wanna make that race look even worse, start it at 100 mph...

It's an awesome car in stock trim which is incredible these days.
However, you have to be realistic about things...427cid, 3,100lbs, factory
worked heads, etc versus a 281cid tank. Even a (shitty) blower can't
even up the playing field.The Z06 is a better car. Period. That is the
outcome I would expect.
There will be vids posted in the near future where strong Cobras are
putting buslengths on Z06's. It's the nature of the beast...always someone

Dont mean to dis the Cobra's, it just seems that when the new Z06 gets a twin turbo setup or something similar its gona be UNTOUCHABLE.

car. There is no such thing as untouchable.

oh stop fighting bastards the whoopin that cobra got is the whooping it should be gettin. we all know the zo6 is the **** even vipers cant keep up with its acceleration same hp but about 400 lbs heavier. the cobra is a well built machine but the vette is even better built. good run between two badass cars just the vette is even more badass. i have a good amount of respect for the new c6 zo6, but i will always want a viper even if they're $15,000 more and in some cases 1/2 a second slower 1/4 and waisting more gas. the new z06 will definitely be remembered for a long time n if i were ferrari or lamborghini i'd start giving my cars a 100hp more cuz potential ferrari buyers are gonna be able to get the same performance for $70,000. nuff said.

Smart people would add in the "weight factor"...Both cars are making ~the same power and the cobra obviously weighs more. Thanx for whoever posted the vid. Havent seen the new Z in a REAL streetrace anywhere.
