My buddies VR-4.

Today started out awesome with the sun, but by the time we ended up shooting it was overcast which sucked, but oh well. Let me tell you going down the highway @ ~65MPH when it's this cold outside was not fun and didn't help any towards the shots, but ah well...there's another day. Anyway I just wanted to show you people that the damn thing moves haha. We're gonna probably do it again in a couple weeks and somewhere a lot less crowded.

To sum it up the car was a frame off restoration after he was rearend 2 years ago. He put it on a diet (400lbs ago), so many custom and one off CF pieces, only VR-4 to use the STACK cluster. He's still TT with hybrid turbos and tuning it for 22psi. She's gonna be a beast.

He just got it back on the road, so no numbers yet. He said guys with set-ups simliar to his are pushing low-mid 400's to all 4 wheels. That car now weighs close to 3000lbs.

that is definatly one of the most beautiful vr4's i've ever seen. props to ur friend. be sure to post his dyno numbers when it gets done. what turbo's is he running i'm just curious?

Like I said he's running some type of hybrid units (I'll get exact specs in a bit). They aren't huge since he's still TT, but they are very effcient.

they don't need to be that big to make a lot of power. a guy here in houston has twin 18g's i believe which aren't huge turbo's and i'm pretty sure he makes over 600hp to all 4 wheels. was just curious what ur friend had cause i've always been interested in vr4's. and if i ever got one knowing what certain turbo combo's make power wise is always helpful in decisions.
