im not saying it cant be done but there are cobras crawling out of every corner in my town and 80% of them make between 440-500 rwhp and i have yet to see one trap over 119. the only one ive seen trap that high was 124 and he has 590 with a whipple.

regardless of how many times I've seen this movie or reposts it has, it gives me a grin from ear to ear everytime I see it. The cobra was whining like a little bitch while the Z06 gave it to him....HAHAAA

An extra 5 MPH in the 1/4 would be quite a few car lengths, but they were going well past their typical 1/4 mile speed: if you look at the Cobra's speedo, the Cobra hit 170 while the ZO6 I imagine was well over 180-185+ (does top out at 198 ya know).
Reguardless of the Cobra's power and 1/4 mile abilities, the Vette's lower weight, better aerodynamics, still more power (maybe) and longer gears allow it to pull harder than the Cobra the faster they go.
The Cobra is quick, but the new ZO6 is just beginning to stretch its legs after the 1/4 mile.
