69chevy, nice job, that Camaro has come a long way!

Appreciate it. It's been a pain in the butt too . Should be done and on the streets before summer.

Forgot to mention that your ride is pretty sweet man . Looks like its capable of driving cross country, im pretty sure it could .

Boosted One - Since you use caltracs you might be able to answer this for me. If you move leaf springs inboard (i have monoleafs on my camaro) by means of the offset shackles, can you still use caltracs? I'm trying to find that out because I want to use caltracs and be able to move in the leaf springs to fit a big tire . If you don't know, then that's perfectly fine.

You sure can. The Caltrac's only go from the sring mount pad to the front spring mount. They are working great for me. I got a 1.43 short time with 10.5" Et streets.

I had every intention of doing the 06 Power Tour, but I have something much better to do now. We're having our first child in May, so I don't thing I should take a 5 week old on the Power Tour. But I did put a 5 point harness in the back for a baby seat

I'm building a 68 Camaro right now, so I know what your going through. Just take your time it's worth it in the long run!

Congrats on the baby. Thanks for the reply on the caltracs. I figure I've seen some 8 second times with caltracs, it won't hurt to put them on a small block camaro . That and we don't have money for any other means. I saw your sig where you mentioned the camaro. A 540 was our first choice and still kind of is but we have our sights on a pretty mean small block for a bit cheaper.

95formulalt1 - It does take a lot of money, i'm not gonna lie, but it takes a heck of a lot of time too. A lot of the work on my camaro I did (with 0% experience on welding and about 15% on body work) then we handed it over to my dads friend who knows what he's doing. He's had it for the last 6 months and I worked on it for about 1 year so I have my fair share of hours into it. It's been 2 years in the making so far and still not done.
