Default Video Clips-to-iPod... how?

Can somebody please offer a simple (as possible) explanation for getting a video clip off the net onto my iPod video???

i don't have an Ipod but a friend of mine said he was using quicktime Pro to get videos on his.

Yeah I read online that the newest verison of quicktime can do it

Yeah, you need the newest version of Quicktime. It is a racket. You have to buy it, then when the new version comes out you need to buy that one too!

OK, so if I get QT Pro, is it pretty cut-and-dry to take a clip off the net and convert it and "Pod" it???

Sorry to be such a bother, but I really don't want this thing to become a glorified walkman, I want to use it to at least a good bit of it's full potential!

download PQ DVD to ipod it works great and you can even change the aspect ratio to make great quality movies.
