They are great cars. I just hate the dash of the 996 personally. Still not enough to diminish the cars perfromance though. They are heavy cars, but perform great.

The GT3 is a bit faster over a stock 996 turbo, the X50 package probably takes care of that though.

I can't wait until later this year, the 997 turbos will be out. I wish I had $140k to order up a sick one. White, with some painted white GT2 seats.

Beautiful car and your pictures make it look even better. I know a guy that bought one last summer and he got it with some factory racing seats that were incredible for racing but he said they were horible for trips.
he took it to the track twice and it got towed home both times. The shifter kept falling apart so he sold it and went back to his TT Z06. He said the porsche was a nicer then the Vette though.

PS. his vette makes almost 1000 hp. Its the top of the line lingenfelter TT Z06. I think He has the quickest 6 speed IRS vette @ 9.45 @15?

 

My neighbor had a I think an 02 metallic red basically like a candy apple red car that he bought out of Illinois. It was a very fast car and the most exotic thing we had in this small town besides a couple of vipers and a BMW M5. Amazing, fast and just a beautiful car. I geuss his color of Porsche was really rare ive only seen 1 other like it.
