Cant comment on 2nd gen rx7's (thats the model type shown in the vid) but a 3rd gen rx7 w/ ls1/t56 conversion should weigh somewhere between 2700lbs-2900lbs.
Which brings about the point, everything is better with a Chevy 350 in it

384rwhp/382rwtq in a 2600lb. miata with a ls1. Real awesome to drive. Runs bikes pretty good.....600cc crotch rockets.

The RX7 is from Indianapolis. He and his buddies race at Muncie Dragway. That car is clean and extreamly sick. With no traction he was running 11.30's in the 1/4 mile I think at 125-128 MPH. Since then he has a T-rex cam and other goodies
