I was wondering if anyone could post a sound clip of their slp loudmouth exhaust that is put on an ls1. I dont know which exhaust I want but i was pushing towards this. Any other sound clips of any other exhaust that you like would be helpful.

i dont have any sound clips, but i do have this exhaust on my 2000 z28. as far as the sound, you better be ready to be noticed. i can start my car, go inside my house, and go upstairs to my room, and still hear it. it doesnt have a deep gurgle sound, its more of a just plain loud in your face sound, if that makes since. as far as performance, i put this exhaust on my car along with a bigger y-pipe, and the bigger air lid, and went from a stock 269 rwhp, to 305rwhp, thats also with a little computer tume. all in all im pretty satisfied with it, just that it gets annoying if you go on long car trips.

It sounds good on stock manifolds and y-pipe. After LT's and ORY it sounds like crap. My LM stayed on 150miles after LT's and ORY. Then I went with a Hooker (no pun intended) and it is a mcuh more refined sound.

I have Longtubes,O/R Y,Loudmouth. I also have an 18in bullet in place and I love it. It definately gets attention. Does it still drone around 70ish, yes but not terrible. At WOT it screams. I like it.

I really don't get how people think LT's and loudmouth sounds bad. I have LT's, ORY, and loudmouth...it sounds AWESOME. Nice and loud start-up, low idle, purrs through gears, SCREAMS at high rpm. I love it.
