Default Powerless v6?

I think not...

http://www.fullthrottlev6.com/forums...ad.php?t=14079

made 362rwhp on 150 shot through a 12bolt. Sure, its not comparable to an LSx motor, but damn, i was suprised at how violent the dyno was.

"he said 219rwhp n/a 245rwtq

cam, heads, higher compression, long tubes, coverter, 12 bolt, 150 shot"

If he saw what an LSX motor made with that setup he would

he knows what an LS1 with that setup will make. He's FAR from a newb. He and his dad race a 468 BBC (~800hp engine dyno IIRC), trust me, he knows his stuff. His old setup through the t5 made ~270. With the auto conversion, big stall, and a 12 bolt, it's alot more difficult to make hp; you guys know this.

EDIT:

For anyone who cares, we finally dynoed the 468. Our goal was 800hp which is VERY healthy for a 468 and we blew that number out of the water. First pull with the vacuum pump unhooked it made 793 @7000 RPM. After dealing with some spark plug issues, we finally got some good pulls and it made 856hp@7600 and 644tq@6100 . Needless to say, our cheap motor to break me in the race car is WAY meaner than expected. The car has some ported Pro-Topline 320cc heads, an Eagle rotating assembly, in a stock 2 bolt block, with a single dominator carb. It was pretty funny because the guys at the dyno argued with my dad a couple times about that the meanest 468 they've seen made 720hp and they didnt think there was any way it would make 800 but they saw what an Abbott Racing Engine can do! They were really impressed. We can probably have it running pretty quick and go do some testing, it should be a hell of a ride! The car weighs around 2350 with me in it BTW!
Hows that for some power?

His car is gonna rock when it hits the track.
Should be some easy 11's when he gets down to HRP.

Thanks for the compliments!! I'm hoping for some big numbers but we'll find out soon enough. Oh Tiago, I've though about 200 more than once. See you out at Penwell Chris.

BTW, our race car with the 468 ran a 8.72@155 the first time out in 4200' DA. I can't explain how crazy a ride it is! Kinda scary.

I'm not doubting his knowledge, I just would rather get more bang for my buck. Cool project though, probably a good sleeper
