That things pretty crazy. It's funny at the end where they make the comment about how their dyno isn't the best, how one dyno is not better than another, and that there different types of dynos. Duh.

Vid works for me!

Badass... Where are these people? It seems, SO FAR of course, that the 4g63's in the Evo's are taking boost VERY well. I've always felt that it was one of the best and strongest 4 cyl motors. Any specs on the engine?

Another Dyno queen. Makes decent power for just over 2k rpm, and you have to wind the **** out of it to get it there.

With every gear shift, it'll fall out of boost and out of the powerband. A car that makes 100hp less but makes power from 5500~6000 rpm through 9k rpm will be quicker.

Buschar has made some fast *** cars, but a look at the dyno chart suggests it might be a QUEEN just like MChat said. looks cool though, I'd certainly take it. Are they still running that 2G Talon?

If he shifts at over 9k rpm and drops to the high 6k's, how is he out of powerband?

It was a joke about the last parish vs ams evo topic.

Edit: And I highly doubt a shop that builds racecars is going to build a dyno queen...that car is going to move out at the track.

Could be that they plan on using a small shot of nitrous to keep the turbo spooled up? I know the nitrous controller I'm using has a boost reference it can use to detect WOT above a set RPM and low/no boost triggering the nitrous then turning it off once a target boost has been reached. That seems to be a pretty common use of nitrous on race cars such as this.

I guess if they spend the money to develop such a transmission. It'd have to be a close ratio gearbox though. Using an excel spreadsheet I made for the SRT-4's gearbox, each shift would drop it into the mid-high 5000rpm range.

i used to have an awd eclipse back in the day. buschar is badass at what he does. he was the like the first dsm into 11's, 10's and 9's or something like that. he was also the guy who made his eclipses rear wheel drive with power glide transmission. another project he did was put a 4g63 into a starion/conquest that went 9's before i stopped hearing about the car. if he built the car it will move down the track np. like any other car it might have to to be tuned/tweeked at the track but its going to move.
